1 Vacation: Each Resident is given three weeks of annual paid vacation.
2 Conference Time: Each Resident is given one week of conference time
per year, granted in accordance with the Anesthesia Faculty Committee
conference policy.
3 Holidays: Each Resident is entitled to all county holidays. These are
accumulated and used as scheduling permits.
4 Malpractice: Malpractice insurance is provided for each Resident while
they are functioning as Anesthesiology Resident in the program.
5 Health Insurance: Medical and dental insurance is provided for each
Resident. Optical insurance is available. Residents with families can purchase
additional insurance for children and spouse through the Hospital's various
insurance plans.
6 Moonlighting: Limited moonlighting is permitted during the second and
third years in accordance to the Moonlighting Policy.
7 Meals and Laundry: All meals are provided free for the Anesthesia
Residents while on duty. The hospital will provide white coats and laundry
service for these coats for each Resident.
